In Suisse Normande, embark aboard the restaurant boat, Val d´Orne, for an exceptional cruise on Lake Rabodanges. This artificial lake was created during the construction of the Rabodanges dam in September 1959. It is a 14 km course along the water, in the heart of generous and unspoiled nature, that awaits you. Comfortably seated on one of the two decks of our barge, during this one hour fifteen minute cruise, you will have plenty of time to discover gray herons and wild ducks in their natural habitat as well as the surprisingly mountainous reliefs of this region of the Orne. A charming moment that will delight lovers of bucolic landscapes, photographers and ornithology enthusiasts, young and old, will be won over by this natural spectacle. Val d´Orne is a magnificent sightseeing boat 23.5 m long and 5.50 m wide. During the day, the Val d´Orne welcomes you for charming walks on Lake Rabodanges. Comfortably seated on the upper deck, you will discover the calm reliefs of one of the oldest mountains in Europe, rich and varied vegetation and surprising aquatic fauna. A family trip with the camera in the palm of your hand. Val d´Orne team offers several options at different times of the day: the simple walk, the afternoon walk with afternoon snack (your choice of drink and chocolate cake) or the walk with the drink included. |
