La Roche d'Oëtre
Come to discover the exceptional protected site of Roche d’Oëtre, located in the heart of Swiss Normandy; it is worth the journey! Carved into the rock, it is one of the most prestigious panoramic viewpoints in western France.

Here, nature is spectacular; people who are passionate by hiking or by nature are attracted by this exceptional panoramic viewpoint.

Visitors are bewitched when they discover the beautiful panorama over the Rouvre River valley from the 118-metre high viewpoint. The Swiss Normandy landscapes are splendid and surprising.

On site, a lot of activities are offered :
  • Hiking trails (one of them has a disabled access). More information in the tourist office.
  • Orienteering paths (from 30 minutes to 3 hours)
  • Mountain bike paths approved by the French Cycling Federation
  • Acrobatic park
  • Ponny and cow ride
  • Balance bike
  • Pedale Go Kart

Services are also offered:

  • A restaurant and a bar with a terrace
  • A tourist office to guide and give advice in order to help visitors to discover the region, to find activities, accommodations…
  • A free exhibition area with varied exhibitions (paintings, water colours, sculpture, photography…)
  • A shop : local Norman produces, arts and crafts… here, you will be able to find presents like books, decoration, hiking articles… To your heart’s content!

Open from Tuesday to Friday in March: 2pm to 5pm
Open every day from April to September : 10am to 6pm (7pm in July and August)
Open from Tuesday to Sunday in October: 10am to 5pm
Closed in January, February, November and December.
